Woman killed by train while crossing the tracks

On the afternoon of June 10, Nui Thanh District Police ( Quang Nam ) said that an accident between a train and a motorbike had just occurred in the area, killing a woman.

According to initial information, at 10:30 a.m. the same day, train number HH84, driven by Mr. Tran Hong Hiep (46 years old, in Da Nang City), was running from south to north.

When reaching Km 889+50m, the section passing through Nui Thanh Town (Nui Thanh District), the train suddenly collided with a motorbike with license plate 92N1-084.46, driven by Ms. NTH (41 years old, living in Nui Thanh Town), from an alley crossing the railway. The strong collision caused Ms. H. to die on the spot, the motorbike was caught in the front of the train.

Upon receiving the information, Nui Thanh District Police were present at the scene to collect information, examine the scene, and investigate the cause of the accident.

The train had to stop for about 30 minutes after colliding with the motorbike before continuing its journey.
