The 19th Asian Games women's volleyball event kicked off on September 30 with 13 teams participating. In round 1, the teams were divided into 4 groups, with the top two teams advancing to round 2.
The Vietnamese team is in Group C with South Korea and Nepal. Passing the first round is not a difficult task for coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team.
