The 2nd Muong Ethnic Cultural Festival in 2025 took place from November 22-24, 2025 at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village, Dong Mo, Hanoi. Participating in the festival, the Son La Provincial Mass Art Troupe had 48 artisans and extras from the communes of Phu Yen, Muong Coi, Muong Bang, Gia Phu, and Kim Bon.
The delegation has prepared an art program to participate in the mass art festival with the theme "Echoes of Muong land", with singing, dancing, musical instrument performances imbued with Muong ethnic cultural identity and demonstrations of traditional Muong ethnic costumes. Prepared performances, introduced excerpts of the Moi festival; Muong ethnic folk dances participating in the festival opening ceremony and activities promoting Muong ethnic culture and traditional arts; Muong gong performances participating in the art parade; performances introducing traditional Muong ethnic crafts... At the same time, prepared the content to participate in the scientific workshop "Preserving and promoting traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development" and a number of other activities.
The art programs have been completed and carefully rehearsed, ensuring the correct content, theme and spirit of the festival. Preparations for costumes, props, sound and other content have been completed, ready to participate in the festival.
The 2nd Muong Ethnic Cultural Festival in 2025 is a meaningful activity, an opportunity for artisans and mass actors to exchange and learn experiences in preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values of the Muong ethnic group in Son La . At the same time, it contributes to promoting the cultural image, people and tourism potential of Son La province to friends and tourists.
