Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Dang Thi Phuong presented gifts to households in Thanh Phuoc commune, Binh Dai district on the occasion of receiving new houses in the province's program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.
Accordingly, the Department of Construction has sent documents to agencies, units and localities to organize meetings to consider proposals for provincial-level rewards for organizations and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing XNT and NDN associated with the emulation movement "Joining hands for XNT and NDN" in the province in 2025. Based on the records and achievements proposed for rewards sent by agencies, units and localities, the Department of Construction held a meeting with representatives of the agencies: Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Office of the Provincial Party Committee, Office of the Provincial People's Committee, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Finance, Department of Agriculture and Environment on June 16, 2025 and agreed to report and ask for opinions from members of the Steering Committee (SC) for implementing XNT and NDN in the province.
Regarding the content of awarding certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to organizations and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Joining hands in XNT, NDN" in the province in 2025, including: 6 groups and 9 individuals.
6 collectives, including: The collective of people and officials of Binh Dai district have completed the construction of 208 houses according to the list approved by the Provincial People's Committee, including: 153 newly built houses, 55 repaired houses; of which, there are 13 apartments for meritorious people, 38 poor apartments, 120 near-poor apartments, 37 difficult apartments. In addition, Binh Dai district has proactively deployed 140 more houses for difficult households outside the list (131 newly built houses, 9 repaired houses).
The collective people and officials of Thanh Phu district have completed the construction of 217 houses according to the list approved by the Provincial People's Committee, including: 154 newly built houses, 63 repaired houses; of which, there are 25 apartments for meritorious people, 49 poor apartments, 60 near-poor apartments, 83 difficult apartments. In addition, Thanh Phu district has proactively deployed 111 more houses for difficult households not on the list. During the implementation process, the District Steering Committee has shown great determination and coordinated well with the Standing Office and the Provincial Steering Committee's Working Group, successfully completing the organization of the groundbreaking ceremony of phase 1 of the province, the implementation progress is always in the leading group among districts and cities.
The collective people and officials of Giong Trom district have completed the construction of 278 houses according to the list approved by the Provincial People's Committee, including: 228 newly built houses, 50 renovated houses; of which, there are 33 apartments for meritorious people, 46 poor apartments, 69 near-poor apartments, and 130 difficult apartments. In addition, Giong Trom district has proactively deployed an additional 111 houses for difficult households not on the list.
During the implementation process, the Steering Committees of the 3 districts mentioned above have shown great determination and coordinated well with the Standing Agency and the Provincial Steering Committee's Support Team. The implementation progress has always been among the top in the districts and cities.
The collective people and cadres of Bao Thanh commune, Ba Tri district have completed the construction of 62 houses according to the list approved by the Provincial People's Committee, including: 36 newly built houses, 26 repaired houses; of which, there are 4 apartments for meritorious people, 16 poor apartments, 34 near-poor apartments, 8 difficult apartments. During the implementation process, the Commune Steering Committee showed great determination and coordinated well with the Standing Office and the District Steering Committee's Support Team, the implementation progress is always in the top group among communes and towns in Ba Tri district, completing the XNT, NDN on June 10, 2025.
The collective of people and cadres of An Phuoc commune, Chau Thanh district have completed the construction of 15 houses according to the list approved by the Provincial People's Committee, including: 10 newly built houses, 5 renovated houses; of which, there are 3 apartments for meritorious people, 4 poor apartments, 5 near-poor apartments, 3 difficult apartments. During the implementation process, the Commune Steering Committee has shown great determination and coordinated well with the Standing Office and the District Steering Committee's Support Team, the implementation progress is always in the leading group among communes and towns in Chau Thanh district, completing the XNT, NDN on June 12, 2025. In addition, the commune also coordinated with district agencies and benefactors to deploy 15 more houses for disadvantaged households not on the list.
The collective of people and officials of Phuoc My Trung town, Mo Cay Bac district have completed the construction of 11 houses according to the list approved by the Provincial People's Committee, including: 7 newly built houses, 4 renovated houses; including 3 apartments for meritorious people, 1 poor apartment, 3 near-poor apartments, 4 difficult apartments. During the implementation process, the Commune Steering Committee has shown great determination and coordinated well with the Standing Office and the District Steering Committee's Support Team, the implementation progress is always in the leading group among communes and towns in Mo Cay Bac district, completing the XNT, NDN on June 12, 2025.
9 individuals, including: Mr. Duong Duy Khoa - Standing Member, Head of the Movement Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province (Born in 1982) proactively advised the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to organize many practical and effective activities in mobilizing resources to implement the program of XNT, NDN, contributing to the implementation of the program of XNT, NDN for people with meritorious services, poor households, near-poor households and disadvantaged households in the province. Proactively established a zalo group with the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the district level, thereby promptly grasping the implementation progress, implementation orientation, and mobilization to achieve results according to the plan of the Steering Committee for XNT, NDN implementation of the province and the plan of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Truc - Specialist of Budget Management Department, Department of Finance (Born in 1985): Directly advise the Provincial People's Committee to allocate funds for implementing XNTt and NDN for households with revolutionary contributions, poor households, and near-poor households in the province in 2025. Gradually guide districts and cities to allocate and settle funds to support XNT and NDN in the province in Official Dispatch No. 485/STC-QLNS on the plan to allocate and settle funds to support XNT and NDN in the province. Coordinate with the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Department of Construction to guide localities on procedures, settlement records, advances and disbursements of support funds. Guide the accounting of the transfer of funds to save 5% of regular expenditures in 2024 of the local budget.
Mr. Ngo Van Lam - Deputy Head of the Department of Internal Affairs, Ben Tre City (Born in 1985): As a Standing Member of the Steering Committee for the implementation of the XNT and NDN Program of Ben Tre City, he advised on the issuance of the Decision to establish a Steering Committee and a working group to support the implementation of the XNT and NDN Program in Ben Tre City. Directly advised the City Steering Committee to specify the policies and contents of the implementation of the XNT and NDN Program in the area. Directly monitored the implementation progress of communes and wards, and supported the completion of 64 houses in the area.
Mr. Le Phuong Dien - Traffic Safety Specialist, Economic , Infrastructure and Urban Department of Binh Dai District (Born in 1982): As a member of the Steering Committee to assist in implementing the XNT and NDN Program in Binh Dai District, he directly advised on documents related to the XNT and NDN Program in the district.
