Under the close direction of the Party Committee, the government and the synchronous participation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and member organizations, the Fund for the Poor has mobilized more than 81.5 billion VND, of which the provincial level mobilized more than 72.6 billion VND, demonstrating the strong spread of the spirit of mutual love in the business community and the people.

Notably, with a total budget of more than 44.2 billion VND from the Fund for the Poor, the whole province has built 301 charity houses and repaired 112 houses for poor, near-poor and extremely disadvantaged households. Thus, the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses has been basically completed on schedule, becoming a bright spot in the Emulation Movement Joining Hands for the Poor - Leaving No One Behind.

In addition, tens of thousands of gifts, scholarships, health insurance cards, medical examination and treatment support, production capital... have been handed to poor households, orphans, the elderly, the disabled, victims of Agent Orange, women and youth in difficult circumstances. Member organizations of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee such as the Women's Union, Red Cross, Veterans' Association, Farmers' Association, Provincial Labor Federation, Youth Union... all have practical and diverse programs: from raising piggy banks, charity rice jars, giving scholarships, livelihood support, to free medical examinations, providing medicine and eye surgery for the poor... Each program aims at a common goal of creating conditions for people in difficult circumstances to rise up, live healthily and have a better future.

In particular, the coordination and entrustment activities through the Provincial Social Policy Bank have helped more than 11,000 poor and near-poor households access capital of more than 600 billion VND, creating a strong driving force for them to develop the economy and escape poverty sustainably.

In the last 6 months of 2025, the province aims to continue improving the quality of social security work through many specific programs. In particular, it will continue to review emerging difficult cases, expand housing support, promote the Movement of All People Uniting to Build New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas; organize the awarding of Nguyen Van Ky Scholarship and Wings of Dreams for poor but studious students...

It can be said that the efforts to care for the poor in the first 6 months of 2025 not only helped stabilize the lives of tens of thousands of people, but also strongly spread the spirit of solidarity and humanity in the community. With the determination to leave no one behind, Dong Nai continues to affirm its special attention to social security work, aiming to build a fair and compassionate society.
