On the afternoon of September 6, leaders of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) had a working session with Thai Binh Thermal Power Company on preparations for storm No. 3, ensuring safety for Thai Binh Thermal Power Plant.

Leaders of EVN and Thai Binh Thermal Power Company inspected the safety assurance work of the plant's coal warehouse.

Through the actual inspection, EVN leaders highly appreciated the Company's preparation and readiness to respond to storm No. 3, from planning to materials and human resources according to the "4 on-site" motto. However, to prevent the complexity of storm No. 3 and ensure the safety of the factory, EVN leaders requested the Company to continue to proactively prepare all conditions to promptly respond to bad situations that may occur, not to be subjective, negligent, or lose vigilance, and to pay attention to ensuring safe production and operation conditions for the factory. In particular, the Company needs to promptly take measures to reinforce and increase the resilience of works such as power rooms, coal warehouses, coal ports and cooling water pumping stations, to avoid landslides and flooding. Urgently dredge and clear sewers and drainage systems to ensure quick drainage and limit flooding. Recheck the quality and take measures to ensure safety for embankments and slag disposal pond banks.
