Vietnam has only one representative, Cam Thanh village, Hoi An Dong ward - Da Nang city. This is the result of the efforts of generations of government leaders and people of Cam Thanh in preserving and conserving the ecosystem and landscape in the estuary and coastal areas. That is the invaluable asset for Cam Thanh people to do tourism sustainably.
Many years ago, despite the strong wave of urbanization, the government and the majority of Cam Thanh residents still persistently chose to absolutely protect the coastal estuary ecosystem, in which the most prominent is the mangrove forest.

Not only the people, the responsibility to preserve the mangrove forests and ecosystems of the coastal estuary of Hoi An Dong ward is determined to be the political task of local authorities at all levels. Because preserving coastal forests and maintaining a clean environment and landscape is also a long-term strategy in developing green tourism, sustainable tourism, and combating climate change.
Mr. Tran Tan Dung - Chairman of Hoi An Dong Ward People's Committee, Da Nang City said: "We identify this as an important task to make this the green lung of the area. Preserving the ecological landscape values and products from the water coconut tree and encouraging people to promote its values in the most reasonable way".

The Bay Mau coconut forest and the coastal lagoon ecosystem are the shelter and protection for the people of Cam Thanh village to create many miracles in the two resistance wars. Promoting cultural and historical traditions, the people of Cam Thanh today always know that preserving and maintaining the landscape ecosystem where they live is also a way to protect and honor the title of the most beautiful village in the world, ensuring a sustainable life for themselves.
