The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that at 4:00 a.m. this morning (July 22), the center of storm No. 3 (storm Wipha) was at about 20.5 degrees North latitude; 107.2 degrees East longitude, about 140km West Southwest of Quang Ninh, about 70km East Northeast of Hai Phong , about 80km East Northeast of Hung Yen, and about 110km Northeast of Ninh Binh.
Strongest wind: Level 10 (89-102 km/h), gust level 13.
Forecast: In the next 3 hours, storm No. 3 will move in the West Southwest direction, at a speed of about 15 km/hour.
Due to the impact of storm No. 3, many coastal and inland areas have experienced strong winds. The delta and coastal areas of the North, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An have experienced moderate to very heavy rain, with rainfall ranging from 50-100mm, with some places experiencing over 130mm.
Forecast: In the next 3 hours, the storm will move in the West Southwest direction, at a speed of about 15 km/hour.
Forecast, by 13:00 this afternoon, storm number 3 is located on the coastal waters of Quang Ninh - Ninh Binh ; wind force level 10, gust level 13.
At 1am tomorrow morning (July 23), storm number 4 is on the mainland of Hai Phong - Thanh Hoa, wind force level 6, gust level 10.
