This is the group of people who participated in a “melee” between about 10 people at the Water Park wedding restaurant, Dam Sen Water Park (No. 3 Hoa Binh Street, Ward 3, District 11) on May 18. The video of the incident was posted online, causing a stir in public opinion.
According to the investigation agency, due to a previous conflict, when they met at the wedding, Le Ngoc Hung Phat (born in 2002, residing in Tien Giang province) and Tran Van Thanh (born in 1988, residing in Binh Tan district) got into a fight. At this time, two groups of friends who were also holding weapons, pitchforks... rushed into the fight, chasing each other from inside the restaurant to the street, smashing many tables, chairs, and glass doors of the restaurant, causing diners to be scared and run away. After the fight, this group left.
During the investigation, District 11 Police detained Phat, Thanh and Nguyen Van Tuan (born in 1981, residing in Binh Tan District).
At the investigation agency, Phat, Tuan, and Thanh admitted all their actions. The police agency called on those involved in the fight to quickly come to the police station to surrender to enjoy leniency under the law.
