Accordingly, the defendant Nguyen Ba Nhat (65 years old, Quang Ngai City, Quang Ngai Province) is a Lawyer, Head of Pham Hung Law Office, former Chief Justice of Tu Nghia District People's Court (Quang Ngai Province), involved in the case of "Giving bribes", "Receiving bribes" and "Brokering bribes" that occurred at the Quang Ngai Province Forensic Center.
In addition, the Supreme People's Procuracy's Investigation Agency also prosecuted and temporarily detained the defendant Ha Tran Vu (32 years old, also known as Quậy nho), who is running a pawn shop in Quang Ngai City, for the crime of "Giving bribes" related to the case that occurred at the Quang Ngai Province Forensic Center.

Previously, the Investigation Agency of the Supreme People's Procuracy temporarily detained Pham Ngoc Phuong (53 years old, Director of the Quang Ngai Province Forensic Center) for the crime of accepting bribes; then arrested Do Van Thuong for the crime of "Bribery Brokerage"; Mai Van Hoc and Nguyen Thanh Tin for the crime of "Giving bribes".
According to the investigation, Pham Ngoc Phuong, in his role as Director of the Quang Ngai Province Forensic Center, received money to falsify forensic examination results related to a number of criminal enforcement cases. This changed the nature of the criminal's execution of the sentence.
