On May 10, Binh Thuan Provincial Police said that a resident voluntarily returned 500 million VND that someone else mistakenly transferred through his bank account.

Previously, on May 8, the bank account of Mr. Le Van Khoa (born in 1995, residing in Tan Thang commune, Ham Tan district, Binh Thuan province) suddenly received hundreds of millions of dong of unknown origin.

Ms. Trang's family representative received back the 500 million VND mistakenly transferred to Mr. Khoa's account.

Immediately afterwards, Mr. Le Van Khoa quickly reported to the Tan Thang Commune Police (Ham Tan District).

After receiving the report, Tan Thang Commune Police quickly verified that the person who mistakenly transferred the above amount of money to Mr. Khoa's account was Ms. Hoang Thi Trang.

Using professional measures, the Commune Police contacted Ms. Hoang Thi Trang.

According to the statement, at around 10:30 a.m. on May 8, while she was away on business, Ms. Trang made a money transfer to a friend. However, during the transaction, she mistakenly entered Mr. Khoa's account.

After that, Ms. Trang also provided the commune police with full information about the transfer transaction, so she received back the entire amount of money that was mistakenly transferred.
