On the afternoon of March 14, in Lao Cai City, after two lively discussion sessions, the Meeting 2025 Conference: Lao Cai - Center for economic trade connection between Vietnam and ASEAN countries and Southwest China: Opportunities for businesses and investors, jointly organized by the People's Committee of Lao Cai Province and the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), closed.
In his closing speech, Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his joy that Lao Cai province received the attention of Government leaders, Comrade Bui Thanh Son, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs; leaders of central ministries, branches; leaders of provinces and cities; embassies of countries, foreign representative agencies in Vietnam, international organizations, domestic and foreign investors attending the conference.
The Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The 2025 Meeting Conference is an important event for Lao Cai to introduce its potentials, strengths, investment orientations and preferential policies to businesses and investors.
This is also an opportunity for businesses to connect economic trade between Vietnam and foreign investors, especially ASEAN countries with the Southwest region of China.

The presence of more than 200 delegates representing businesses and investors affirmed their interest and support for Lao Cai province, which is an encouragement and an important premise to open a new development journey for the province in calling for investors and businesses to learn about and invest in projects in the area.
In the coming time, to promote economic cooperation between domestic and foreign enterprises, expand connections with international investors and partners, Lao Cai province - as a strategic trading center - hopes that the Government, central ministries and branches will continue to pay attention and support to attract stronger investment.
That will help the domestic and international business community to maximize their potential and expand cooperation in many key areas such as tourism, trade, import and export, manufacturing industry and high-tech agriculture, etc., towards sustainable growth and common prosperity.
