Exciting Cultural - Sports Festival of Tay Ho District

On May 9, Tay Ho district organized the 2025 Cultural - Sports Festival, celebrating the 30th anniversary of Tay Ho district's establishment (December 27, 1995 - December 27, 2025).

Vice Chairwoman of Tay Ho District People's Committee Bui Thi Lan Phuong said that the Cultural - Sports Festival is a playground connecting cultural, artistic and sports club models in the district.

The large participation of athletes and club members is a testament to the excitement of the cultural and sports movement at the grassroots level, thereby contributing to building a rich spiritual life, uniting all classes of people.

According to Ms. Bui Thi Lan Phuong, the festival contributes to spreading the cultural and sports movement to each residential group, family, and club.

With diverse competition contents such as folk dance, aerobics, table tennis, volleyball, poetry, and arts, the teams of 8 wards in Tay Ho district had rich performances, highly appreciated by the judges and the people.

The Organizing Committee awarded the first prize of the poetry contest to Thuy Khue ward; the second prize went to Phu Thuong ward and Buoi ward. The third prize was awarded to 3 wards: Quang An, Yen Phu, Nhat Tan.

At the folk dance competition, the first prize went to Quang An ward; the second prize was awarded to Buoi ward, Yen Phu ward and the third prize went to Xuan La, Thuy Khue and Nhat Tan wards.

In the competition “Moc Lan Twin Fans”, Xuan La ward won first prize. Yen Phu ward continued to be the leader in the “Centrifugal Ball” category. In the traditional martial arts category, first prize belonged to Tu Lien ward.
