The National Defense and Security Knowledge Training Class for Subject 2, Course 133, includes 39 students, who are officials from agencies under the Central Internal Affairs Committee, the Central Strategic Policy Committee, the Central Inspection Committee, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Construction , the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, a number of universities, state-owned enterprises...

The objective of the course is to update and foster the Party's viewpoints and the State's legal policies on national defense and security, combining socio -economic development and foreign affairs activities with strengthening and consolidating national defense and security; raising awareness and effectively applying them in organizing and implementing the two tasks of building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland in the new situation according to each working position of the trainees.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Sy Loc, Director of the Academy of Politics, said: Thoroughly grasping and strictly implementing the Party's policy, in recent years, the work of education and fostering knowledge of national defense and security has been widely deployed, achieving important achievements, contributing to promoting the movement of all people to protect national security, building a strong national defense and people's security.

"The coordination between national defense, security and foreign affairs has been given more attention; the national defense and people's security posture has been firmly consolidated; the national defense and security potential has been enhanced, especially in strategic areas. The achievements in national defense and security work in recent years have affirmed that the Party and State's guidelines, viewpoints, policies and strategies on the task of educating and fostering national defense and security knowledge in the new situation are completely correct," the Academy Director emphasized.

In recent years, implementing the policy of innovating programs and contents to improve training quality; the program and contents of training in national defense and security knowledge for target 2 have been adjusted, supplemented, and updated with new issues in theory and practice, basic and advanced knowledge, closely linked to national defense and security work in central ministries, branches and sectors.

According to the plan of the National Defense and Security Knowledge Training Class for Subject 2, Course 133 from May 7-27, 39 students will study 21 topics; visit and conduct practical research at the 86th Chemical Brigade/Chemical Corps; practice and practice shooting live ammunition with the K54 pistol, lesson 1, exchange, discuss and organize writing reports to evaluate the results of the entire course.

Proposing that relevant forces thoroughly grasp and implement the course regulations, Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Sy Loc believes that, "from practical experience in organizing training courses on national defense and security knowledge, with a sense of responsibility and high determination, the comrades of the 133rd course in 2025 will overcome all difficulties and successfully complete the goals and requirements of the course".
