After nearly 02 months of implementation, on October 18, 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of Tan Doan commune to organize the closing ceremony of the lion dance practice and performance class and announced the Decision to establish and launch the Tay and Nung ethnic lion dance club in Tan Doan commune , Lang Son province.
Comrade Nguyen Thi Tham , Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Heritage Management, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism delivered the opening speech of the program.
The class to teach the intangible cultural heritage of the Tay and Nung ethnic lion dance was held from August 26, 2025 to October 2025 at the Tan Doan Commune Cultural House. The class was directly taught by local artisans Dinh Manh Duc and Vy V an Ty with the participation of 47 students of many ages. Over the period of teaching, with the enthusiasm and initiative of the artisans and students, the students of the basic class have mastered dances such as: worshiping the land god, the gods, lion hunting dance, happy dance, traditional martial arts dance... During the organization of the class , although there were still some limitations such as: being organized right after the stage of rearranging the commune-level administrative units, making professional coordination not really smooth, the learning location is far away, the facilities are still lacking, especially the impact of storms that interrupted the class's practice time.
At the closing ceremony , the Organizing Committee announced the Decision of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and awarded Certificates of Completion of the Course to the artisans and students ; the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism presented 02 sets of lion dance props to the People's Committee of Tan Doan commune ; the People's Committee of Tan Doan commune announced the Decision to establish and launch the Tay and Nung ethnic lion dance club with 47 members, the club's chairman is artisan Dinh Manh Duc .
The Organizing Committee awarded Certificates of Course Completion to the students.
