At the communication session, Ms. Pham Thi Hien, Deputy Head of Nursing Department, shared about the benefits of breast milk for mothers and babies as well as the connection between breastfeeding and environmental protection, reducing plastic waste and emissions from the production and transportation of formula milk.

She also guides on how to breastfeed in the correct position, how to stimulate milk production and maintain a stable breast milk supply. These practical shares receive attention and high appreciation from mothers and their families.

From August 1 to 7, countries around the world will celebrate World Breastfeeding Week to encourage, support and promote breastfeeding - a natural, safe and beneficial method of feeding for young children.
With the theme “Prioritizing Breastfeeding: Building a Sustainable Support System”, World Breastfeeding Week 2025 emphasizes the role of building a long-term support network from family, community to medical facilities so that every mother can confidently breastfeed her baby from the very first days of life.
