Welcoming President Luong Cuong to visit the Senate headquarters, Senate President Abdel-Wahab Abdel-Razeq assessed that the visit took place at the right time, thereby bringing the relationship between the two countries into a new stage of development in all fields, bringing a better future for the two countries and two peoples. The Senate President said that as two traditionally loyal friends, Vietnam and Egypt need to enhance political trust, mutual understanding, and work together to coordinate and connect. President Abdel-Wahab Abdel-Razeq affirmed that the Egyptian Senate wishes to promote cooperation with the Vietnamese National Assembly and will deploy all necessary measures to support the State and Government of the two countries to effectively and substantially promote the implementation of commitments and cooperation plans, for the benefit of the people of the two countries.

Thanking the Egyptian Senate for the warm welcome given to the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, President Luong Cuong shared his impressions of visiting Egypt for the first time, a country that not only has a brilliant ancient civilization but is also developing strongly and plays an important role in the region and the world . The long-standing friendship and history between Vietnam and Egypt is a valuable tradition, and the two countries need to further promote it to implement the recently established Comprehensive Partnership framework.
President Luong Cuong said that the two countries still have a lot of potential to further promote bilateral cooperation, especially in economics, trade and investment, commensurate with the good political relations and the potential and advantages of each country. Accordingly, President Luong Cuong suggested that the National Assemblies of the two countries coordinate closely, support the effective implementation of bilateral cooperation mechanisms, support negotiations, improve policies, agreements, and legal frameworks, help strengthen cooperation between businesses, open markets for goods from both sides, and connect people of the two countries.

To further develop the Vietnam-Egypt relationship for the benefit, prosperity and happiness of the people of the two countries in the coming time, the two leaders agreed to further promote the role of parliamentary diplomacy, strengthen cooperation between the two countries' National Assemblies through promoting the exchange of delegations of National Assembly leaders, leaders of specialized committees of the two legislative bodies to share legislative and supervisory experiences; continue to closely coordinate between the two countries' National Assemblies, promote cooperation between the Arab Parliamentary Group and the Asian Parliamentary Group at multilateral multi-parliamentary forums, promote exchanges between young parliamentarians and female parliamentarians. The two sides agreed to soon establish the Friendship Parliamentarians Association of the two countries to regularly exchange and propose measures to enhance and promote parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.
On this occasion, President Luong Cuong conveyed the invitation of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man to the President of the Egyptian Senate to visit Vietnam soon. The President of the Egyptian Senate thanked him and happily accepted the invitation.
This is the final activity of the State visit of President Luong Cuong and his wife and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation to the Arab Republic of Egypt. At noon on August 6 (local time), the President and his wife and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation left Cairo, successfully concluding their visit to Egypt, and headed to the Republic of Angola for a State visit from August 6-8.
