Lao Cai Provincial Youth Union Secretary visits and encourages union members and youth to participate in supporting the 500kV power line project

On August 16-17, comrade Ha Duc Hai, Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Youth Union, visited, presented gifts, and encouraged union members and youth volunteers to participate in supporting the construction of the 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen transmission line in Luc Yen and Muong Lai communes.

At the places he visited, comrade Ha Duc Hai kindly asked about and acknowledged the efforts and attempts to overcome difficulties of the youth volunteers.

Comrade Ha Duc Hai gave gifts and encouraged union members and youth of Luc Yen commune.

He emphasized that the 500kV power line project is of special importance, not only for Lao Cai province but also for the sustainable development of the country.

Therefore, each member and youth needs to promote the spirit of volunteerism, actively participate in propaganda work, mobilize people to support house relocation, cut down trees, clear the route corridor, contribute with the Party Committee, government and Project Management Board to complete the project on schedule.

Recently, the provincial Youth Union at all levels has implemented many specific and practical tasks to respond to the peak campaign to support the Lao Cai - Vinh Yen 500kV transmission line project launched by the Central Youth Union on July 10.

Since its launch, the whole province has mobilized about 1,000 union members and youth to participate.

The union members actively promoted, mobilized, and supported the relocation of houses for more than 80 households; dismantled nearly 70 architectural objects; cleared the corridor at 35 pole spaces with an area of over 105,000 m², deployed in 13 communes where the line passed through.
