Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu and representatives of relevant departments and branches accompanied the delegation.

The delegation surveyed the Nam Quang Nam solid waste landfill in Tam Nghia commune; inspected compensation, site clearance and resettlement, and the construction status of key traffic projects, including coastal road 129 - Vo Chi Cong; Tam Hoa main road and DT.613B route.

According to the report, the Vo Chi Cong coastal road project has a total investment of 1,076 billion VND, 26.5km long, currently implementing the construction of the 21.5m roadbed and has handed over the site. The construction work has reached a value of 374.87 billion VND (41% of the contract).

However, 5km of land through the communes of Tam Tien, Tam Hoa, Tam Hiep, Tam Nghia, Tam Quang has not been handed over yet, affecting the progress. There are still 665/939 land plots that have not completed compensation procedures, including 51 plots with residential land and houses; 30 houses have not been cleared yet, but the compensation, support and resettlement plan has not been approved to hand over the construction site.

The Tam Hoa main road project connecting National Highway 1 to Vo Chi Cong Street and DT.613B started construction on April 26, 2023 and is expected to be completed on April 25, 2025. However, the Provincial People's Committee is currently requesting an extension of the contract implementation period to December 31, 2025.

This project has a total investment of 646 billion VND, is 4.8 km long, has handed over 2.7 km of land, and has achieved a construction value of 226.8 billion VND (43.95% of the contract). Truong Giang Bridge and Cho River Bridge have completed the main spans, but many abutments and piers have not been constructed due to lack of land. There are still many plots of land that have not completed compensation procedures, causing delays in progress.

Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet emphasized the need to speed up compensation and site clearance to ensure project progress. At the same time, he requested the Provincial People's Committee to soon organize a working session to summarize the recommendations of Nui Thanh district so that departments and branches can respond and provide specific answers to the locality to remove obstacles.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that the current pressure is very great, requiring clear division of responsibilities, high concentration, increased close coordination, and decisive resolution to achieve the set goals for these projects.
