According to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, entering its third year of organization, the tournament has affirmed its position as an annual, prestigious playground for workers, civil servants, and laborers across the country, contributing to promoting the movement of physical exercise and sports , improving the cultural and spiritual life of workers, civil servants, and laborers in particular and the whole society in general.

The 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament is organized in the format of 7-a-side football, according to the competition rules issued by the Vietnam Football Federation. The tournament is implemented according to the Labor Federation system on a national scale, gathering nearly 40 participating football teams - representing Trade Unions of provinces, cities, industry Trade Unions and enterprises across the country.

The 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament will go through 2 stages: The Qualifying Round will be held from September to October 2025 in the Northern region ( Hanoi ) and the Southern region. The 16 best teams in the Qualifying Round will qualify for the National Finals, taking place at the end of October.

The total prize of the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament is up to 900 million VND. Of which, the national final champion team will receive 200 million VND (an increase of 50 million VND compared to the 2024 season).

A notable highlight is that all matches of the tournament are livestreamed on social media platforms of the Tuoi Tre ecosystem, the tournament fanpage and the Vietnam Trade Union fanpage. This helps union members who cannot go to the stadium to cheer for the tournament and motivate the players from afar.

In addition to the football competition event, in the qualifying and final round areas of the Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament 2025, the Organizing Committee also implemented online interactive activities, such as voting for beautiful goals; direct interactive activities at the organizing area, such as: Free examination and consultation on sports medicine and musculoskeletal diseases; discount booths, minigames to receive attractive gifts...

At the same time, the Organizing Committee launched the "Love Bus Trip" activity to support health check-ups and consultations, and provide free medicine to workers in the export processing zone. This was also an opportunity for the Organizing Committee and leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to meet and encourage workers and laborers on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.
