Northern region

Today's live pig price (December 9, 2024) in the Northern region recorded price fluctuations in the two provinces of Bac Giang and Nam Dinh when it increased by 1,000 VND/kg, bringing the live pig price to 64,000 VND/kg and 63,000 VND/kg, respectively.

Currently, live pigs in this area are being sold at prices ranging from 62,000 - 64,000 VND/kg. Of which, the highest transaction price in the country is 64,000 VND/kg, recorded in Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Hung Yen, Thai Binh, Hai Duong and Bac Giang.

Central Highlands region

Similarly, the price of live pigs today (December 9, 2024) in the Central Highlands region recorded a price adjustment in the two provinces of Quang Tri and Quang Nam, both increasing by VND 1,000/kg. Currently, the price of live pigs in the region continues to fluctuate between VND 60,000 - 63,000/kg.

In particular, live pigs in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Lam Dong and Binh Thuan are being sold at 63,000 VND/kg, the highest in the region. Meanwhile, the lowest price in the region is 60,000 VND/kg in Quang Binh, Khanh Hoa and Quang Nam.

Southern region

On the contrary, the price of live pigs in the Southern region today (December 9, 2024) recorded a stable price compared to the two regions of the North and the Central Highlands.

Currently, traders in this area are purchasing live pigs at prices ranging from 61,000 to 64,000 VND/kg. Can Tho is the only locality in the region with live pig prices reaching 64,000 VND/kg. Hau Giang, Tien Giang and Tra Vinh have the lowest live pig prices in the region at 61,000 VND/kg.

In general, the live pig market today, December 9, 2024, has price fluctuations in some provinces in the Northern and Central Highlands regions. Currently, the live pig price nationwide is fluctuating between 60,000 - 64,000 VND/kg.
