Ca Mau Border Guard promotes grassroots democracy associated with political tasks

On October 14, a working delegation of the Border Guard Command, led by Major General Vu Quoc An, Deputy Political Commissar of the Vietnam Border Guard, had a working session and comprehensively inspected the implementation of the Grassroots Democracy Regulations at the Vietnam Border Guard Command and a number of affiliated units.

At the grassroots level, the working delegation of the Border Guard Command conducted a field inspection at Dat Mui Border Guard Station and Rach Goc Border Guard Station.

The inspection not only recorded positive results but also pointed out problems that need to be overcome, in order to further improve the unit's working efficiency and combat strength.

Reporting to the working delegation, Colonel Pham Minh Giang, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Ca Mau Border Guard, affirmed that Party committees at all levels in the entire unit always pay close attention to, seriously and effectively deploy the guiding documents on the implementation of the Grassroots Democracy Regulations. The regulations and rules are regularly reviewed, supplemented and perfected to suit the actual situation, while inspection and supervision work is maintained strictly and systematically.

According to Colonel Pham Minh Giang, the effective implementation of the Grassroots Democracy Regulations has created a clear change in awareness and action throughout the unit, helping to maintain discipline and order. The rights and obligations of officers and soldiers are always taken care of and guaranteed.

Specifically, from the beginning of 2025 until now, the unit has organized 242 democratic dialogue sessions with more than 6,218 officers and soldiers participating; 120 policy dissemination sessions attracting over 5,450 listeners. Emulation and reward work has also been promoted, with 94 collectives and 525 individuals with outstanding achievements being proposed for rewards...

Concluding the inspection, Major General Vu Quoc An acknowledged and highly appreciated the Ca Mau Border Guard for implementing the Grassroots Democracy Regulations in a disciplined manner. The Major General also requested the unit to seriously organize to overcome the limitations pointed out by the inspection team.

The Deputy Political Commissar of the Vietnam Border Guard hopes that officers and soldiers of the Ca Mau Border Guard will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and unity, and strive to better implement the Grassroots Democracy Regulations, thereby successfully completing assigned political tasks, contributing to maintaining stability and peace on the sacred sea and islands of the Fatherland.
