Tra Co Border Guard completes work to call on ships to take shelter from storm Wipha

Faced with the complicated developments of storm No. 3 (Wipha), on the morning of July 21, Tra Co Border Guard Station continued to organize working groups to go to each boat and aquaculture cage to inspect, call and request fishermen to quickly move ashore to ensure safety. Officers of Tra Co Border Guard Station approached fishermen's boats to propagate and ask people to go ashore to avoid the storm.
Up to now, the unit has organized 28 working groups with 121 officers and soldiers to support people in strengthening their houses and aquaculture rafts; at the same time, propagandizing, calling, and guiding 1,006 boats with 2,530 crew members to safe shelters, including 60 out-of-province boats with 360 crew members.

Through the unit's review, up to now, there are no more boats operating at sea. The unit's vehicles have also been moved to safe positions to avoid the storm. The station also maintains 2 boats with 10 officers and soldiers on duty ready to carry out rescue missions and other instructions from superiors.
