Binh Duong spends more than 255 billion VND to support Lunar New Year 2025

These are the contents agreed upon by the People's Council of Binh Duong province in passing the Resolution on supporting the Lunar New Year 2025 at the 30th session (special session) on January 10.

Accordingly, the beneficiaries include cadres, civil servants, state employees, workers, officers and soldiers of the armed forces, cadres of the People's Committees of communes, wards and towns and policy beneficiaries in the province. The People's Council of Binh Duong province agreed on a support level of 2,000,000 VND/subject/reward, with a total estimated support budget of nearly 230 billion VND for more than 172,000 beneficiaries.

Specifically, the funding source for implementation using the regular expenditure estimates of agencies and units assigned by competent authorities is more than 78 billion VND; from the unit's revenue and other legal financial sources is more than 9.2 billion VND and from the provincial budget allocated to agencies, units and localities is more than 142 billion VND.

The resolution also stipulates the level of financial support for worshiping martyrs and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers who passed away on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025. It is expected that the local budget will allocate more than 25.7 billion VND to implement the policy.

In Binh Duong province, social security work and care for the Lunar New Year 2025 for policy beneficiaries, the poor, and people in difficult circumstances in the area are being implemented by the province according to plan with many activities to take good care of policy beneficiaries.

The new point of the 2025 Tet care policy is that the People's Council of Binh Duong province issued a Resolution regulating the subjects and annual gift levels for subjects and units in the province, creating a basis for subjects to enjoy stable and long-term care policies.
