Binh Phuoc: Increasing experiences, attracting tourists, creating momentum for tourism growth

The plan was issued by Binh Phuoc province to implement Official Dispatch No. 34/CD-TTg dated April 10, 2025 of the Prime Minister on promoting tourism development, ensuring double-digit economic growth.

Accordingly, the Plan aims to specify tasks and solutions to promote tourism development, ensuring double-digit economic growth in the province. Increasing the experience for tourists through tourism stimulus programs contributes to attracting tourists, creating momentum for tourism growth in the province.

The Provincial People's Committee requests the active and effective participation of agencies, units, tourism associations, travel agencies, accommodation establishments, tourism service providers, transport companies, relevant organizations and individuals, the community and tourists. At the same time, the implementation of the Plan must be closely linked to environmental protection, security, order and safety in the border area according to current regulations.

According to the plan, Binh Phuoc Radio - Television Station and Newspaper coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to annually promote tourism propaganda and promotion through the creation of reports and articles introducing tourist areas, destinations, potentials and advantages of tourism in the province, at the same time promoting propaganda on 04 types of press and digital infrastructure to promote tourism.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinates with the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to develop traditional art performance programs associated with local culture. Organize events, festivals, cultural, artistic and sports activities associated with tourism events; periodically rotate the organization in localities in the province to create promotional highlights, attract and serve tourists.

Linking tourist destinations; diversifying typical tourism products such as agricultural, ecological, resort tourism... focusing on linking tourism with other industries in the value chain, associated with green and sustainable development, taking the experience of tourists as the center; promoting the role of linking to build attractive and unique tourism products.

Specifically, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinates with departments, branches, sectors, and People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities to periodically introduce new tours and tourist routes designed from the advantages and tourism resources of the province.

The Department of Industry and Trade coordinates with relevant units to promote trade promotion programs, consumption of agricultural products associated with tourism development activities; enhance the introduction, promotion and exchange, circulation of goods and services through supermarket systems, e-commerce platforms, especially typical products of the province (such as OCOP products) as gifts, souvenirs to serve the shopping needs of tourists.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment coordinates with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, relevant agencies and units, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to advise on the Project on management, development and improvement of forest economic efficiency associated with tourism in the province. Completion time is June 2025.

The Department of Finance coordinates with departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to advise competent authorities to arrange capital sources to implement programs and projects in the tourism sector to ensure compliance with the provisions of law.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinates with departments, branches, sectors and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities, every 6 months/year or according to specific task requirements, to propose policies to encourage strategic investors to invest in and form complex tourism service areas, large-scale tourism projects, and high-quality entertainment centers. Research and propose solutions to promote public-private cooperation, mobilize social resources to invest in developing tourism facilities and infrastructure.

The provincial police coordinated with the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Provincial Military Command, and the People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities to strengthen the management of foreigners entering, exiting, and residing in the province, while continuing to advise on national security protection, ensuring social order and safety in the tourism sector in the new situation; ensuring regulations on safety, security, and order for international tourists during their tours in the province.

The People's Committees of districts, towns and cities coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; departments, branches and sectors; the Provincial Tourism Association; tourism service businesses to strengthen comprehensive state management of tourism and management of tourist destinations in the area; receive and handle visitors' feedback, promptly inspect, detect, prevent and strictly handle violations of the law in the tourism sector.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinates with the Department of Finance; departments, branches and sectors; People's Committees of districts, towns and cities; Provincial Tourism Association; tourism service businesses to propose policies and mechanisms to support tourism businesses and tourism businesses in accessing capital sources and stimulus packages; synthesize and propose support to remove difficulties and obstacles for organizations, individuals and businesses participating in tourism development.

The Provincial Tourism Association coordinates with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; departments, branches and sectors; tourism businesses to guide and support businesses to develop healthily, comply with the law and policies of the Party and State. Detect, synthesize opinions and propose and recommend to competent authorities to resolve difficulties and problems of tourism businesses.

The Provincial People's Committee requests departments, branches, sectors, the Provincial Tourism Association, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to develop specific plans and implement them in assigned areas based on their assigned tasks. Periodically evaluate the implementation of the Provincial People's Committee's Plan and report every 6 months (before June 15), annually (before December 15) to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism for synthesis and reporting to the Provincial People's Committee.
