Can Bitcoin Return to $110,000 by Year-End?

The fall from the historic peak of $126,000 in October has caused strong fluctuations in investor sentiment, but new signals from US monetary policy are helping to stabilize the market somewhat.

Expectations for a 25 basis point cut at the Fed’s December meeting jumped to 70% as of November 23, up from less than 40% just a day earlier, according to CME’s FedWatch tool. The move was fueled by comments from New York Fed President John Williams that rates could be adjusted to a more neutral level without harming the labor market and still ensuring inflation is controlled at 2%.

Many experts believe that the nearly 40% drop in bitcoin over the past month was not due to internal factors, but mainly due to external influences such as news about tariffs, a stronger US dollar and forced liquidation orders in the highly leveraged market.

CEO Nicholas Roberts-Huntley said this is a necessary “shake-off” period, helping the market become healthier. He predicted that bitcoin could recover and fluctuate in the range of 95,000 - 110,000 USD by the end of the year, and could even increase sharply if macro conditions are favorable.

On the cautious side, Mr. Andreas Brekken believes that the bear market has actually started since the end of 2024, and a new growth cycle can only appear in the first quarter of 2026. However, some analysts expect the Fed's ending of quantitative tightening program on December 1 to be an important boost.

Expert Robert Le believes that the recent peak may just be the “midpoint” of the cycle and the market is still underestimating bitcoin's growth potential in the period leading up to 2026.
