The four members of Blackpink appeared together at a public event to celebrate the group's 8th debut anniversary.

To celebrate their 8th debut anniversary, Kpop girl group Blackpink has organized a series of remarkable activities. From livestreaming to interacting with fans, organizing autograph sessions for 88 lucky fans...
On the evening of August 9, Blackpink officially appeared before the public at the movie introduction event "Blackpink World Tour (Born Pink) in Cinemas", held at Yeongdeungpo Times Square, Seoul.
This is the first time that the four members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa of Blackpink have appeared at a public event as a complete group since the final performance of their world tour in Seoul last September.
As soon as Blackpink appeared, cheers erupted. The members continuously waved, smiled brightly, and stopped to sign autographs and take pictures with fans before going on stage.

The appearance of the 4 female idols also became a hot topic. The whole group wore the same black outfit, but each person brought a different style.
In the interview that followed, Blacpink expressed their feelings on the occasion of their 8th anniversary and expressed their expectations for the group's debut documentary.
Elder sister Jisoo “The 8th anniversary is even more special because we debuted at 8pm on August 8. Our love for the fans who have supported us so far has increased 800 times,” shared.
Rose “When I heard that a fan in elementary school had turned 20, I realized that time flies so fast. I watched the movie before and it ended very well. I hope you enjoy watching it.”
Lisa continued: “This is our first time going to the cinema and I hope the emotions we felt then will be conveyed exactly as they are now.”
Jennie Nostalgia: “On a positive note, it feels like we just met yesterday. It feels like we are looking back at ourselves on the first day we met 10 years ago.”
The female idol then humorously said, "The 88th anniversary will also come," making everyone laugh.

After interacting with the audience, Blackpink performed the hit songs "As If It's Your Last" and "How You Like That" together.
“Born Pink in Cinema” is a film that documents Blackpink’s global tour, which visited 34 cities around the world from 2022 to 2023 and attracted 1.8 million viewers. The film was released in Korea on July 31 and will be shown in more than 110 other countries.
Blackpink debuted on August 8, 2016 and immediately became famous with a series of explosive music products. In 2022, Blackpink released their second full-length album "Born Pink", becoming the first K-pop girl group in history to top the US Billboard 200 album chart.
Late last year, Blackpink renewed their group contract with YG Entertainment, while their individual contracts were not renewed. Each member left YG to begin their own solo journeys.
According to YG's announced plan, Blackpink will continue group activities with a new song and organize a world tour next year.
