Commentator Vu Quang Huy was appointed Deputy General Director of VTVcab.

After nearly 30 years of working in the television industry, holding many positions in various units, on June 2, 2025, commentator Vu Quang Huy was officially appointed by the Board of Directors of Vietnam Cable Television Corporation (VTVcab) to hold the position of Deputy General Director of VTVcab - an important milestone for him personally as well as the domestic sports television industry.

When mentioning commentator Vu Quang Huy , Vietnamese sports fans immediately remember his warm voice, inspiring style and classic reports that have accompanied millions of viewers for more than 2 decades. He is considered one of the pioneers who made a mark on modern Vietnamese sports television, with a record number of reported matches. In particular, he is the only person who has accompanied every season of the V-League, and is a familiar face associated with the Premier League since the first matches broadcast in Vietnam in 1998.

From VTV to senior management position at VTVcab

Starting his career at Vietnam Television (VTV) in 1995, Mr. Quang Huy quickly made his name through major sporting events such as the 1998 Tiger Cup, the 22nd SEA Games in 2003, and a series of top matches in the UEFA Champions League, Premier League, Serie A... He is not only a leader of emotions for the audience, but also a symbol of standards, prestige and dedication in sports journalism.

During the following period, while working at VTC, commentator Quang Huy held the position of deputy director of the station, in charge of the entertainment sector, but still directly worked professionally and was a close collaborator of VTVcab, regularly appearing as a commentator, expert, and guest commentator in programs such as "The Champion" or talk shows accompanying major tournaments.
