The training course was attended by 90 trainees who are officers from the Provincial Military Command, 5 Regional Defense Commands, Regiments 877 and 247; the Provincial Border Guard Command and Border Guard Stations on the provincial border.

Colonel Dao Toan Thang, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Military Command of Tuyen Quang province delivered the opening speech.

During the 5 days, the trainees were taught key contents by lecturers such as: Combat readiness, provincial defense operations; combined arms tactics; construction and operation of provincial defense zones; handling situations in border management and protection; border foreign affairs; new weapons training methods; using specialized guns to suppress UAVs...

In his opening speech, Colonel Dao Toan Thang emphasized that the training course aimed to unify awareness, improve staff capacity, direct, organize and implement local defense and military tasks and border work in accordance with the Party's viewpoints and guidelines and the State's laws. He requested the Organizing Committee to conduct the course according to plan; the teaching staff to convey concisely and closely follow practice; officers and trainees to strictly comply with and fully absorb the content to effectively implement it at their units after the training.
