(NLDO) - A series of universities announced to extend the admission deadline until 5:00 p.m. on September 2, supporting students to complete procedures during the holidays.

Speaking to reporters on the morning of August 31, representatives of universities in Ho Chi Minh City recruiting additional students said that the extension of enrollment on the common system of the Ministry of Education and Training does not affect the additional enrollment process at the school.

At the same time, schools will arrange additional staff to support candidates with admission procedures and additional admission procedures during the holiday.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) announced to work during holidays to support new students and candidates for additional admission.

According to the general enrollment plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, 5:00 p.m. on August 30 is the final deadline for confirming enrollment on the general enrollment system. Candidates who do not confirm will be considered to have refused admission to their first choice.

However, by the end of August 30, the Ministry of Education and Training announced an extension of the admission deadline to 5:00 p.m. on September 2. This made many candidates who wanted to take the additional admission exam worried, afraid of missing the last chance.

A representative of Hoa Sen University said that the school will announce additional admissions immediately after the university admission scores are available.

The extension of the admission deadline does not affect the school's decision to recruit additional students. However, for "hot" majors with limited additional enrollment quotas, if you do not register early and wait until the "deadline", you may miss the opportunity.

Hoa Sen University is accepting applications for 31 additional majors until September 10. Some of the "hot" majors that young people are interested in are: information technology, hotel management, event management, tourism and travel services management, international business, psychology, fashion design, graphic design... The school's admissions center has arranged a team of consultants and support for candidates during the holiday, working hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Completing admission procedures early helps new students take the initiative with their time, increase their chances of receiving scholarships and stabilize their study schedule right from the first semester.

Similarly, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) also announced extending the admission period to September 2.

The school board announced the additional admission of 1,000 students for all regular university training programs with two admission methods, including admission based on the average score of 3 high school subjects and admission based on the average score of the entire 12th grade year. The deadline for receiving admission applications is 5:00 p.m. on September 10.

On August 30, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education announced additional admissions for 7 majors: educational technology, information technology, Russian language, French language, Japanese language, Korean language and international studies. The quota ranges from 20-50 (depending on the major).

The Ministry of Education and Training's supplementary admission regulations state that universities that lack enrollment quotas will announce supplementary admissions after candidates have completed their first admission confirmation. However, up to this point, many universities have announced supplementary admissions and will end supplementary admissions in September to keep up with training progress.
