The notice signed by the Head of the Office of the Faculty of Public Health on October 16 sent to Master of Science TTHS has the following content:
“Based on the regular meeting of the Faculty Office on October 13. In order to ensure the health of the staff and the quality of work at the Faculty Office, the Faculty Office requests Master of Public Health, an office specialist of the Faculty of Public Health, to perform a hearing examination at a competent medical unit.
Reason: During the regular meeting of the Faculty Office on October 13, MSc. S. frequently asked the leaders of the Faculty Office to repeat their opinions many times.
The deadline for submitting hearing test results to the Faculty Office is before 4:30 p.m. on October 20.
Above is the notice about performing hearing test, requesting Master S. to seriously perform it.
With the above content, many social media users believe that the notice requiring employees to have their hearing checked for the reason of "frequently asking leaders to repeat opinions" is as real as a joke.
Responding to this incident, a representative of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine said that the above announcement came from the fact that the leaders of the Faculty of Public Health noted that specialist S., when attending regular meetings, asked the leaders of the Faculty Office to repeat his opinions.
The Office leader raised the issue that this specialist might be having hearing problems, so he asked her to go for a check-up to check her health status.
The school representative also informed that this was a doctor's recommendation to the staff. This was an internal matter of the Public Health Department and was not reported to the school leadership.
