The London club has officially announced the appointment of new head coach Ange Postecoglou, who has just led Celtic to a "treble" of Premier League, National Cup and Scottish League Cup titles. Ange Postecoglou is still under contract with Celtic until June 2024, but Tottenham agreed to compensate for the remaining year of his contract to quickly stabilize the captain's position, which has been vacant for the past few months.

After sacking Antonio Conte in March, Tottenham appointed Cristian Stellini and Ryan Mason as interim managers, but the season did not end as they had hoped. Tottenham finished eighth in the Premier League, meaning they will not be able to compete in any European competitions next season.

Ange Postecoglou quickly integrates into European football culture
Ange Postecoglou had little coaching experience in Europe when he joined Celtic two years ago from Japanese club Yokohama F. Marinos. Fans only knew a little about the Greek-Australian coach from the period when he led the Australian team to the 2014 World Cup, then helped the team nicknamed "Socceroo" win the 2015 Asian Cup and qualify for the 2018 World Cup.
Celtic under Ange have firmly consolidated their position as number 1 in Scottish football.
Under the leadership of Ange Postecoglou, Yokohama F. Marinos won their first J-League title in 15 years (2019). He moved to Celtic and won the "double" of the Scottish Premiership and League Cup in both seasons, alongside "legends" Jock Stein, Martin O'Neill, Brendan Rodgers and Neil Lennon when leading Celtic to the "treble" in the 2022-2023 season.
