A 4-month-old baby boy abandoned in a rented room in Dong Nai has just been taken in and cared for by the authorities. They are looking for relatives.
Today (February 15), the People's Committee of Ho Nai 3 Commune (Trang Bom District, Dong Nai Province) announced that it had just received and cared for an abandoned baby boy in a rented room in the area.
Accordingly, on the afternoon of February 13, Ms. Tran Thi Thom (manager of a boarding house in Thai Hoa hamlet, Ho Nai 3 commune) reported to local authorities about discovering a baby boy about 4 months old, weighing 6kg, left in the boarding room without identification papers.
Ms. Thom said that before Tet, a young couple brought their child, a boy, to rent a room. The mother was named Ngoc (about 20 years old) and the father was named Pham Minh Hieu (about 18 years old). Both of them left without leaving any contact information.
Upon receiving the news, the authorities arrived at the scene and collected information from those involved.
The People's Committee of Ho Nai 3 Commune has widely announced the information, hoping to soon find relatives for the boy. While waiting for the documents and procedures to be completed, the local authorities will provide the boy with the best health care.
If after 7 days no one comes to claim the child, the government will complete the legal procedures as prescribed so that the child can receive appropriate protection and care.
