Comrade Be Thi Hoa commented that the draft report clearly outlined outstanding achievements, identified directions, goals, key solutions, and breakthroughs to develop Lang Son quickly and sustainably. According to her, the report pointed out important results, notably economic growth, improved people's lives, and synchronous investment in urban and rural infrastructure.

However, in the context of complex climate change, the province needs to pay more attention to environmental protection, natural disaster and disease prevention, factors that are directly affecting sustainable development.

He suggested: In the orientation section, it is necessary to add content on forecasting the impacts of climate change, especially extreme weather events, floods, and landslides. At the same time, there should be a group of specific solutions to manage and sustainably exploit natural resources, control environmental pollution, ensure the safety of dams and overcome localized flooding at some points in urban areas.

Regarding the content of key tasks and development breakthroughs, the draft report sets out 5 key tasks and 5 development breakthroughs. He suggested that the drafting agency review and only focus on implementing 3 breakthroughs 1, 2, and 3 to ensure feasibility during the term; 2 breakthroughs 4 and 5 are identified as key tasks to be implemented during the 2025-2030 term.

From the practice of trade union work, the Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor said that it is necessary to pay special attention to the issue of employment, increasing income, ensuring social welfare for workers - an important force in the economic development process. Currently, the majority of the province's workers are working in industrial parks outside the province, in many cases living far from their families, with unstable income and unstable life. The province needs to have solutions to develop on-site industrial parks and clusters, while promoting vocational training linked to the needs of businesses to retain workers...

He also emphasized the need to improve the effectiveness of trade union activities in participating in Party and government building, caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers, including continuing to pay attention to building a team of trade union officials with sufficient qualities and capacity to meet the requirements of the new situation, and effectively playing the role of a bridge between the Party, government and workers.

With the enthusiastic comments derived from reality, from the thoughts and aspirations of the workers, he believes that the 18th Provincial Party Congress will make correct and breakthrough decisions, meeting the expectations of the people and the business community, creating sustainable jobs, protecting the environment, and building Lang Son into an important growth pole of the Northern Midlands and Mountains region.
