The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has just issued National Technical Regulations on environmental quality.

On March 13, 2023, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment issued the National Technical Regulation on ambient environmental quality in Circular No. 01/2023/TT-BTNMT. This Decision takes effect from September 12, 2023.

This Circular promulgates 05 national technical regulations on environmental quality, including:

1. QCVN 03:2023/BTNMT - National technical regulation on soil quality;

2. QCVN 05:2023/BTNMT - National technical regulation on air quality;

3. QCVN 08:2023/BTNMT - National technical regulation on surface water quality;

4. QCVN 09:2023/BTNMT - National technical regulation on groundwater quality;

5. QCVN 10:2023/BTNMT - National technical regulation on seawater quality.

From the effective date, the following National Technical Regulations on the environment will cease to be effective, specifically including:

1. QCVN 05:2009/BTNMT - National technical regulation on ambient air quality;

2. QCVN 06:2009/BTNMT - National technical regulation on some toxic substances in ambient air.

3. QCVN 45:2012/BTNMT - National technical regulation on permissible limits of dioxin in some types of soil

4. QCVN 54:2013/BTNMT - National technical regulation on threshold for treatment of persistent organic plant protection chemicals according to land use purposes

5. QCVN 03-MT: 2015/BTNMT - National technical regulation on permissible limits of some heavy metals in soil.

6. QCVN 08-MT:2015/BTNMT - National technical regulation on surface water quality.

7. QCVN 09-MT:2015/BTNMT - National technical regulation on groundwater quality.

8. QCVN 10-MT: 2015/BTNMT - National technical regulation on seawater quality.

9. QCVN 15:2008/BTNMT - National technical regulation on pesticide residues in soil

10. QCVN 05:2013/BTNMT - National technical regulation on ambient air quality
