The course was organized to equip staff with basic and advanced knowledge about AI applications in administrative activities such as: intelligent document processing, electronic data management, decision support and enhancing interaction with people through digital platforms.
In his opening speech, Mr. To Hoai Phuong, Director of the Department, emphasized the importance of applying AI in administrative management, especially in the context of digital transformation becoming an inevitable trend and being identified by the Party and State as one of the national strategic tasks. According to him, bringing smart technologies such as AI into the operations of State agencies will contribute to innovating working methods, optimizing work processes, reducing manual administrative workload, and improving efficiency in serving people and businesses. He also noted that AI is not a distant concept, but is clearly present in every administrative task today - from managing records, coordinating work schedules, automatically responding to citizens via chatbots, to supporting decision-making based on big data analysis. To effectively promote these technologies, the Department Director recommends that each trainee participate in the training course with a spirit of inquiry, proactive learning and readiness to apply acquired knowledge into daily work practices.
The training course is expected to create a strong push, promoting comprehensive digital transformation in the Agriculture and Environment sector - a sector that is facing many challenges such as climate change, environmental pollution, and increasing demand for online public services. Strengthening digital capacity for staff not only improves the quality of public service but is also an important premise for building a modern, transparent, and effective administration. Through the training program, the Ca Mau Agriculture and Environment sector demonstrates its determination to successfully implement the Government's goal of national digital transformation by 2025, with a vision to 2030. Artificial intelligence, with increasingly practical and powerful applications, will become a powerful tool to support the management, monitoring of resources, operating agricultural production, protecting the environment and serving people in a smarter - more accurate - more effective way than ever./.
