Ca Mau province proposes to develop a Resolution on mechanisms and policies to support the Population Arrangement Program for the period 2026 - 2030

On October 10, 2025, the Department of Agriculture and Environment advised the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council to register to develop a Resolution on mechanisms and policies to directly support a number of contents for households and individuals subject to the Population Arrangement Program in Ca Mau province for the period 2026 - 2030.

Before implementing the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units, the People's Council of Ca Mau province (old) and the People's Council of Bac Lieu province (old) issued Resolution No. 08/2023/NQ-HDND and Resolution No. 07/2024/NQ-HDND respectively, stipulating the support level for implementing the Population Arrangement Program until 2025. After the two provinces merged, these resolutions continued to be applied according to the old administrative boundaries, leading to inconsistencies in the content and support level between regions, affecting the synchronous implementation of mechanisms and policies to support households and individuals under the Population Arrangement Program in the new Ca Mau province.
The issued resolution will unify the content, support level and implementation method across the province, creating a synchronous legal basis, contributing to ensuring social security, sustainable development and strengthening local defense and security. It is expected that the Provincial People's Committee will submit it to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and approval at the meeting at the end of 2026./.
