Minister Nguyen Kim Son inspects the organization of the High School Graduation Exam in Vinh Phuc

On the morning of June 26, before the Literature exam - the first subject of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son inspected the exam organization at the Hai Ba Trung High School exam site and Tran Phu High School exam site (Phuc Yen city, Vinh Phuc province).

Here, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son visited and encouraged students and staff on duty.

The Hai Ba Trung High School exam site has 595 candidates taking the exam, with 25 official exam rooms, 2 waiting rooms and 1 spare room. The total number of staff working at the exam site is nearly 100 people, including 51 exam invigilators. All candidates at this exam site take the exam according to the 2018 General Education Program.

Tran Phu High School's exam site has a total of 777 registered candidates with 33 official exam rooms. The number of staff working on the exam at this site is 101 people.

According to records, at both examination sites, the preparation of facilities was carried out seriously and fully: offices, examination rooms, seating charts, and lists of candidates in each examination room were clearly arranged; rooms for storing exam papers and test papers were arranged separately, with cabinets, locks, and seals according to regulations. Rooms not in use during the examination were sealed.

The area for storing personal belongings, documents and devices that are prohibited from being brought into the examination room is arranged safely, at least 25m away from the examination room area. Equipment for the examination such as surveillance cameras, examination cabinets, examination papers, examination phones, computers, printers, backup generators, etc. are fully arranged. The examination sites also have plans to support the accommodation of candidates during the examination days, including arranging some unused classrooms so that students can take a nap if needed. The fence system around the examination site is sturdy.

At the Hai Ba Trung High School exam site, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son directly inspected the exam organization, focusing on the Council room, some exam rooms, security and safety of the exam site as well as facilities serving candidates.

The Minister acknowledged the careful preparation, seriousness and high responsibility of the team of exam supervisors and exam staff at the exam sites.

Teachers of Vinh Phuc College of Industry and Commerce take attendance of students who have arrived at the exam site.

Before the exam, the Minister visited and encouraged the candidates, telling them to stay calm, confident, and make the best use of their abilities to complete the exam with good results and fulfill their study aspirations after graduating from high school.

The Minister expressed his confidence in the sense of responsibility and dedication of the teachers and other forces participating in the exam, and wished the officials and teachers to successfully complete their assigned tasks, contributing to organizing the 2025 High School Graduation Exam seriously, safely and in accordance with regulations.

Working with Vinh Phuc province on the organization of the exam, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son acknowledged that the locality had carefully prepared for the exam, from facilities, training and guidance for exam invigilators, and support for students attending the exam at the exam sites.

During the two days of the exam, the Minister requested the province to continue to carry out the remaining tasks according to the plan, requirements, and regulations so that the exam can take place safely and seriously, and to continue to pay attention and create the best support conditions for candidates at the exam sites. Thereby, helping them to maximize their capacity, skills, knowledge and perform best in each exam.

In particular, after completing the exam supervision work, the exam marking work will be carried out from the beginning of July in the context of merging provinces and cities. The Minister requested that localities continue to do a good job in marking exams, because the number of exams and subjects according to the 2018 General Education Program is larger and more complicated.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee, Tran Duy Dong shared: This is an important exam, so the direction and organization of the exam always receive special attention from the province. Over the past years, Vinh Phuc has always been a locality in the top of the country in terms of high school graduation exam scores and has made large investments in education and training. With this year's high school graduation exam, the organization and regulations of the exam are different from previous years when it is organized simultaneously for candidates to take the exam according to the 2018 and 2006 General Education Programs. Therefore, the province has thoroughly trained the regulations, developed a plan to ensure safety and security of the exam, medical work, support for students in special circumstances, and a plan to support candidates to move to convenient and safe exam locations. During the two days of the exam, the province continued to pay attention to ensuring absolute safety for exam questions, exam papers, and work to prevent and combat exam cheating; ensuring food safety and hygiene; handling and responding to weather conditions

In the 2025 high school graduation exam, Vinh Phuc province has more than 16,600 candidates participating in the exam according to the 2006 and 2018 General Education Programs, an increase of more than 1,000 candidates compared to 2024. The province has arranged 30 exam sites with 705 exam rooms, including 691 exam rooms for candidates taking the exam according to the 2018 General Education Program and 14 exam rooms for candidates taking the exam according to the 2006 General Education Program. 26 waiting rooms, mobilizing nearly 2,500 cadres, teachers and staff to participate in the service. The farthest exam site is 45km, the nearest is 0.8km, the average distance between exam sites is 20km.
