15 candidates were suspended from the exam on the first day of the exam.

On the first day of the 2025 high school graduation exam, 15 candidates nationwide were suspended from the exam, of which 10 were suspended during the literature exam.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, more than 1.13 million candidates took the math exam on the afternoon of June 26 (99.36% pass rate). Nationwide, 5 candidates were suspended from the exam for violating the exam regulations (last year, 3 candidates were suspended from the exam).

Previously, in the literature exam that took place in the morning of the same day, 10 candidates were suspended from the exam, of which 8 candidates brought phones and 2 candidates brought documents into the exam room.

Thus, on the first day of the exam, 15 candidates were suspended from the two subjects of literature and mathematics. On the next day of the exam, the Ministry of Education and Training reminded candidates to comply with the exam regulations, not to bring mobile phones, documents and prohibited devices into the exam room, causing unfortunate consequences, and being suspended from the exam.

Overall, the Ministry of Education and Training said that the first day of the exam was safe, especially without any problems with the exam questions.

Tomorrow, June 27, candidates will continue to take the optional subjects (for candidates taking the 2018 program) and the combined and foreign language exams (for candidates taking the 2006 program).
