Implementing Conclusion No. 94-KT/TW dated March 28, 2014 of the Secretariat, in recent years, the Party Committee of the Logistics Academy has focused on thoroughly grasping, leading, directing, and proposing many measures to put the study of political theory at the Academy into order, with many innovations and creativity, bringing practical results. Thereby, contributing to raising awareness and political theory level for the subjects, helping the team of cadres, lecturers, students, staff, and soldiers of the Academy always have a strong political stance, ready to receive and complete well all assigned tasks.

Strictly implement and closely organize

Implementing Conclusion No. 94, the Party Committee of the Academy has organized the deployment and concretization of the contents of resolutions, conclusions, directives, projects, plans, programs, and instructions of the Central Committee, the Central Military Commission (CMC), the Ministry of National Defense , and the General Department of Politics (GDM) into the Party Resolution of the Academy during the terms. At the same time, it has developed specialized resolutions and resolutions to lead the implementation of tasks in each school year; directed functional agencies to advise on the development of plans, programs, and instructions for the implementation of directive documents from superiors on innovation in political theory learning in the Academy.

During the implementation of Conclusion No. 94, the Party Committee of the Academy has led and directed the implementation of propaganda and education work well, creating high unity in awareness and action of cadres, party members and the masses. In particular, in each school year, the Academy has strictly implemented the political education program, disseminated legal education in accordance with the regulations of the TCCT as well as the framework program and detailed program of social sciences and humanities (KHXH&NV).

Along with that, the Political Department of the Academy has advised, presided over, and coordinated with agencies, faculties, and units to deploy and implement directives and instructions from superiors; proactively directed and guided the Department of Marxist-Leninist Theory and Ho Chi Minh Thought; the Department of Party Work and Political Work (CTĐ, CTCT) to research, review, innovate, and perfect the curriculum, content, and teaching methods of political theory subjects for subjects in the direction of increasing practice time and exercises, according to the motto "Basic, systematic, unified, in-depth", meeting the requirements of training and updating new knowledge.

Party committees and commanders of agencies and units have thoroughly grasped and understood the position and role of political theory education and study; concretized the contents of directives and instructions from superiors into regular leadership resolutions. At the same time, closely combined political theory education with the tasks of military education, training, training, building discipline, and discipline management. The Academy regularly inspects, summarizes, and draws lessons from political theory study at all levels, thereby promptly evaluating the implementation results, drawing lessons, discovering, disseminating and replicating creative, practical, and effective models and methods, overcoming limitations, inadequacies, difficulties, and obstacles.

Creativity in organization and implementation

One of the contents that the Party Committee of the Academy of Public Administration attaches special importance to is innovating methods and forms of teaching and learning political theory. The Academy has synchronously implemented many methods of teaching political theory in the direction of promoting the positivity, initiative and creativity of learners; focusing on inspiring in the teaching process, building the spirit of self-awareness and passion for learning political theory of students.

At the same time, closely link the transmission of political theory knowledge with practical connections, orienting learners on ways and methods to creatively apply the knowledge learned to perform assigned duties and tasks. Combine traditional and modern teaching methods, focus on developing thinking and scientific working style for learners along with enhancing post-lecture activities such as forums, seminars, dramatization, organizing competitions on Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh thought... Pay attention to the application of information technology in political education; regularly thoroughly grasp and implement well the motto "Teaching effectively, learning effectively, evaluating effectively".

Regarding political learning content in the official training program, agencies, departments and teachers have organized training, exams, and assessment of results to ensure strictness and compliance with regulations and rules; the form has many innovations, focusing on assessing practical skills, and the ability to connect and apply of learners.

Regarding the content of political study at the unit, agencies and units have thoroughly grasped and organized monthly subject study to ensure completeness, rigor, and seriousness, with 100% participation. The Academy has made many innovations in organizing testing and evaluating results, such as organizing multiple-choice tests on computers using specialized software, ensuring accurate and objective evaluation of results; synchronously and effectively implementing good models and creative ways in political education, such as the model: "Reading books about Uncle Ho - Studying and following", "Model lectures", "One law per week, one legal document per month", "Handling legal and disciplinary situations"...

In addition to the above contents, every year, on the opening day of the new school year, the Academy maintains the organization of reading Uncle Ho's letter to the first Supply Cadre Training Class (the predecessor of today's HVHC); organizing propaganda and education on the occasion of the anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to the Academy (September 7); organizing a ceremony of pledging determination, visiting, introducing traditions to students of the new course of training platoon-level logistics officers at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the Academy's Traditional Room, and a ceremony to report achievements and pin Uncle Ho's badges on graduating students at the Uncle Ho statue campus of the Academy.

At the same time, effectively implement the traditional study tours according to the training program and the source marches for cadres, lecturers, students, staff and soldiers. The Academy's library has well organized the display of artifacts, books, newspapers and documents; increased books and documents on political education work in the unit's bookcase. Maintain a regular regime of political and current affairs announcements, reading newspapers, listening to the radio, watching television, promptly providing information, orienting public opinion and unifying awareness and ideology for cadres, lecturers, students, staff and soldiers. Forms of political and ideological activities, Political and spiritual culture days, and Law days are regularly innovated in content, measures and methods by agencies and units.

Thoroughly grasping and implementing circulars, regulations, and guidelines on training and fostering political theory teaching staff, Party committees and organizations at all levels in the Academy have proactively selected sources for training and fostering to improve the quality of the staff; linking training and fostering with planning and using political theory teaching staff. The Academy proactively sent staff to rotate and practice in units to accumulate practical experience and practice methods and styles of command and management; organized training and fostering for the team of teachers directly teaching political theory. Therefore, the qualifications, capacity, methods, and working style of the team of political theory teaching staff have been gradually improved.

Thanks to the synchronous and effective implementation of measures, from 2014 up to now, the political awareness test results of the Academy have always met the requirements at 100%, in which, in most years, the rate of good and excellent results accounted for more than 90%. The awareness of cadres, party members and the masses about the meaning and role of political and ideological education, theoretical research, as well as the political theory level of cadres and party members has been increasingly improved, contributing to building agencies, units and the Academy strong in politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
