Training on Party building knowledge for more than 1,800 reporters and editors

BTO-This morning, June 2, the Ministry of Information and Communications coordinated with the Central Organizing Committee and the Provincial and Municipal Party Committees directly under the Central Committee to organize an online conference to foster knowledge on Party building for leaders, reporters, and editors of news agencies and newspapers in 2023.

Attending the conference at the Hanoi bridge point were Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Lam and leaders of the Central Organizing Committee and the Central Propaganda Department.

The conference was connected to 63 Provincial and Municipal Party Committees across the country with the participation of 1,867 delegates who are leaders, reporters, editors of press agencies across the country; officials and leaders working in information and propaganda of the Department of Information and Communications of provinces and centrally run cities.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nam chaired the conference at Binh Thuan bridge point.

Attending from Binh Thuan province were comrade Nguyen Thanh Nam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Department of Information and Communications, Provincial Journalists Association and nearly 50 reporters and editors of news agencies in the province.

At the conference, the trainees will be discussed, shared and answered by reporters with many years of experience in Party building work with questions about Party building and rectification work with main contents such as: Experience in creating journalistic works in the political genre; New contents on Party building and political system work in the resolutions of the 4th, 5th and 6th Central Conferences (13th tenure); Introduction of topics, themes, ways of processing information in creating works on Party building and political system, introduction of new models, creative and effective ways in Party building work; Skills in creating press photos on Party building; Sharing experiences in creating journalistic works on Party building of authors who won high prizes in the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award.

Emphasizing at the conference, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Lam requested comrades who are leaders, reporters, and editors of press agencies to actively respond and participate more enthusiastically in the 8th "Golden Hammer and Sickle" National Press Award on Party building - 2023, making practical contributions to the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system.

Press agencies need to be more proactive and innovative in information and propaganda work on Party building in accordance with the characteristics of each locality and region. Improve the quality of propaganda on Party building on mass media in the direction of combining "building" and "fighting", in which "building" is considered fundamental, strategic, long-term, and "fighting" is considered an important, urgent, and regular task. Implement well the motto "Using positive to repel negative", "using beauty to eliminate ugliness". Thereby, creating a ripple effect in press agencies and the whole society.

At the same time, organize systematically and creatively the response to participate in the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award or have creative media products; encourage many reporters and journalists to participate in writing about Party building work and select many quality works, ensuring the number of participants in the award.
