Bon Phang has 8 villages, 1,356 Kinh and Thai households. Being a purely agricultural commune, economic development conditions are more difficult than other areas of the district. The commune Party Committee has proposed solutions to direct economic development; focusing on directing the effective integration of support resources, building infrastructure to serve production development, promoting the role of mass organizations in supporting members and union members to change the structure of crops and livestock.
Emulation movements were deployed such as: "Farmers are good at production and business", "Women help each other develop the economy, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty", "Veterans help each other reduce poverty, do good business"... attracting a large number of members and union members to participate. Up to now, the whole commune has 689 households borrowing capital from credit institutions, with a total outstanding debt of more than 50 billion VND; there are 35 households doing service business.
Mr. Ha Van Hoa, Secretary of the Bon Phang Commune Party Committee, informed: The commune Party Committee has 256 party members, operating in 14 party cells. The Party Committee assigns members at all levels to be in charge of guiding and helping the party cells; grasping the thoughts and aspirations of party members and the people. Encouraging party members to promote their exemplary role, taking the lead in transforming the structure of crops and livestock, intensive farming, increasing the number of crops; diversifying business and service sectors.
The Nam Tien village Party cell has 21 party members who always promote the role of being exemplary, pioneering, and transforming the structure of crops and livestock. Ms. Duong Thi Thu Hien, Party cell secretary and head of Nam Tien village, said: Party members work first so that the people can work later. Up to now, the whole village has planted nearly 45 hectares of coffee trees, 60 hectares of fruit trees of all kinds; raised 1,900 livestock and poultry. Many households have an income of over 200 million VND/year, even billions of VND. The economy has developed, the cultural, material and spiritual life of the people has improved. By the end of 2024, the village will have only 10 poor households; 7 near-poor households.

After studying effective economic models, Mr. Lam converted 2.5 hectares of land for short-term food crops to grow coffee, longan, and plum. Mr. Lam said: To help the trees grow and produce high yields, the family uses sprinkler and drip irrigation technology and organic fertilizers. Thanks to that, many traders inside and outside the province come to buy the products. From the comprehensive economic model, the family earns nearly 400 million VND each year.
Party member Ca Van Quy, Nong O village Party cell, has chosen the model of growing coffee trees and raising pigs. Mr. Quy said: In 2016, I converted to growing more than 1 hectare of coffee trees. At the same time, I raise 5 sows, selling 100 breeding pigs each year. After deducting expenses, the family earns over 300 million VND/year.
With strong, grassroots leadership, it has helped people develop the economy in the right direction, focusing on taking care of more than 603 hectares of coffee, 200 hectares of fruit trees of all kinds.
