President Yoon's spokesman Lee Do-woon said the South Korean leader and first lady Kim Keon-hee arrived at Yoshizawa, a restaurant famous for its Japanese beef stew sukiyaki, at around 7:40 p.m.
Prime Minister Kishida and First Lady Kishida Yuko were already there and greeted President Yoon and his wife at the restaurant gate when they appeared.
After taking off their shoes, the four went downstairs to the dining room in a traditional Japanese "horigotatsu" room, where there were four interpreters.

After enjoying sukiyaki at Yoshizawa Restaurant, Prime Minister Kishida continued to treat President Yoon to omurice (Japanese egg rice) at Rengatei Restaurant in Ginza District. Similar to sukiyaki, omurice is also President Yoon's favorite dish.
