Taking place from October 14 to December 6, 2025, the 2025 Youth Tug of War Championship is an event jointly organized by the Vietnam Youth Union and sponsors such as SportPro (VietFootball), Coc Coc Browser, Rockstar (Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam)...
The tournament consists of 8 stages, with 7 regional qualifying rounds and 1 final round, bringing together more than 100 teams, nearly 1,500 athletes and about 20,000 spectators at the competition venues.
School yard "unleash power"
In the second qualifying round held at the University of Commerce ( Hanoi ) with the participation of 22 teams and 330 athletes, thousands of spectators were present early to fill the school yard.
"What impressed me most about this tournament was that all the matches were officiated by national referees, making it feel like the teams were competing in a professional tournament," said Nguyen Thu Ha, a student at the University of Commerce.

At the FPT Polytechnic competition venue - host of the 4th qualifying round with 20 teams and 200 athletes, the spirit of perseverance continued to be demonstrated. The series of matches between faculties and student clubs continuously featured tug-of-war, quick changes of direction, demonstrating good rope holding techniques and endurance. The Final match at FPT Polytechnic was considered the most dramatic competition since the beginning of the tournament.
"Strong endurance" stadium
At the third qualifying round at My Hao (Hung Yen) with 32 teams and more than 300 athletes, the cold rain could not reduce the "heat" of the competitions.
Spectators still came early to cheer, cheering continuously during each match. Outside the field, activities such as hammer smashing, machine pulling or lucky draw for gifts... were organized to create a joyful atmosphere for the tournament.

Noi Bai Industrial Park (Hanoi) - the venue for the 5th Qualifying Round witnessed a series of evenly matched matches between 26 competing teams, with most of the matches only being decided after the third draw.
The seriousness of the teams is also shown in the way they prepare: practicing carefully, studying posture, tactics and even investing in costumes like a real team.

Similarly, in the 6th qualifying round at Tien Lang (Hai Phong) - where 40 teams gathered and was organized in a knockout format, the cold air of the North could not "cool down" the field.
The matches took place at a very fast pace, creating explosive moments in the qualifying round, where each pull carried the never-give-up spirit of the young people of Hai Phong.
After 6 qualifying rounds, two seemingly opposite colors, the youthfulness of the university block and the simplicity of the testing sites of industrial parks and local communities, harmonized, contributing to creating a passionate and exciting picture typical of the 2025 Youth Tug of War Championship./.
