The announcement ceremony, held in Ca Mau, was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam Television, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Government Office , representatives from the People's Committees of provinces and cities, Unicomm Communications Company, and various news agencies.
This is a strategic milestone, opening a new phase of development for school sports media in the 2026-2030 period, because for the first time in Vietnam, a comprehensive, long-term project on organizing nationwide school sports media activities specifically for students is being implemented with the coordination of management agencies, media agencies and social resources.
Over the past five years, the units have collaborated on 57 projects and programs across all 34 provinces and cities nationwide, including many notable activities such as the 13th Southeast Asian School Games, the 10th National Phu Dong Sports Festival, S-Race – Vietnam's first school sports event to set a world record for the number of participating athletes, and the SV Cup national men's university football tournament.

The widespread impact of these activities is clearly reflected in impressive figures, such as a total reach of over 777 million views – a record number for school sports – along with a content ecosystem including more than 100 live and online television programs, 1,561 news articles and reports, and 3,418 written pieces with the participation of 616 news agencies. Through these efforts, over 4.5 billion VND has been awarded to outstanding individuals and teams, motivating and encouraging physical training among students nationwide.
Building upon the achievements already made, the Student Affairs Department (Ministry of Education and Training), the Sports Television Center (Vietnam Television), and Unicomm Communications Company signed a cooperation agreement to organize school sports communication activities for the period 2026-2030. This aims to continue the mission of developing the stature and physical fitness of future generations, focusing on implementing key, synchronized, and widely disseminated activities.
Through a collaborative model between government agencies, media outlets, and businesses, a comprehensive development environment is built, where the young generation of Vietnam is trained physically, mentally, and in willpower, becoming healthier, more dynamic, more ambitious, and confidently stepping into the era of national progress.
