England became the first European team to officially participate in the 2026 World Cup after the latest round of matches. Under the leadership of coach Thomas Tuchel , the "Three Lions" showed their superior strength when they won all 6 matches in Group K, scored 18 goals and did not concede any. With 18 absolute points, the England team soon completed the goal of winning a direct ticket, affirming its position as the top candidate for the world championship.
Kylian Mbappe takes France to World Cup 2026
Meanwhile, France also followed suit with a convincing 4-0 win over Ukraine. Captain Kylian Mbappe continued to prove his class as a top star by contributing greatly to the victory, helping coach Didier Deschamps and his team officially book their ticket to North America.
According to UEFA's format, 54 teams are divided into 12 groups of two-legged round-robin teams. The top 12 teams in each group will qualify directly, while the remaining 4 spots will be determined through a play-off round between 16 teams, promising breathtaking competition in the coming stages.
