Doan Van Hau played 60 minutes in the friendly match of Hanoi Police Club

On November 14, Doan Van Hau played in the friendly match between Hanoi Police Club and Lion City Sailors in Singapore.

Despite the absence of some players on duty with the U22 and Vietnam national teams (such as Dinh Bac, Quang Hai, Thanh Long, Ly Duc and Minh Phuc), the Hanoi Police Club still took the field with a relatively strong squad with goalkeeper Nguyen Filip as the main goalkeeper, and Doan Van Hau wearing the captain's armband.

Van Hau played 60 minutes before being taken off by head coach Alexandre Polking. He played well in the role of left-back, trying to stop Lion City Sailors' attacks.

The match result was not disclosed due to the reason of protecting the information of the Hanoi Police Club. Although the match finished last night (November 14), it was not until this afternoon (November 15) that the police team announced the information on their homepage.

This is Doan Van Hau’s second friendly match for the Hanoi Police Club after a period of absence due to injury treatment. Previously, Van Hau played for about 10 minutes in the match against Hanoi Club in October.

The fact that Van Hau was able to play for 60 minutes is a good sign in the player's comeback process. He has been away from the field for too long (nearly 2 years) due to persistent injuries.
