V-League Round 8 Rankings: Hanoi Police Club Closer to Ninh Binh

Hanoi Police Club is closely chasing Ninh Binh after round 8 of V-League 2025-2026 ends.

On the evening of October 27th, the last match of Round 8 of the LPBank V-League 1 2025-2026 concluded with a narrow 1-0 victory for Hanoi Police against Ho Chi Minh City Police.

This result propelled Quang Hai and his teammates to second place with 17 points, just 3 points behind league leaders and newcomers Ninh Binh . However, the police team still has one game in hand.

The Cong - Viettel finished in 3rd place with 15 points after a shocking 1-2 defeat against Hoang Anh Gia Lai.

Hai Phong FC and Ho Chi Minh City Police FC both have 14 points, ranking 4th and 5th respectively in the standings.

New head coach Harry Kewell secured his first victory by defeating Becamex Ho Chi Minh City FC. This result propelled Hanoi FC to sixth place with 11 points, temporarily lifting them out of their crisis.

Meanwhile, Nam Dinh Green Steel continued to disappoint by drawing 1-1 with SHB Da Nang at their home stadium, Thien Truong. The reigning champions are currently languishing in 8th place in the standings.

Hoang Anh Gia Lai remains at the bottom of the table despite having just defeated The Cong - Viettel. The team from the mountainous region has 6 points, the same as SHB Da Nang, but trails in goal difference (-6 compared to -5). However, they still have a game in hand.
