The exhibition Living Heritage - Heritage for the future and book launch The universal winthin - Universe of the mind took place in Ho Chi Minh City.
In which, The Universal Winthin - Universe of the Mind volume 1 opens the annual publication series introducing typical Vietnamese characters around the world, representing Vietnamese intelligence, bravery and creative spirit.
In the first volume, the book introduces 8 keywords corresponding to 8 names: Quy - Jazz artist Sir Niels Lan Doky; Cong - People's Artist Bui Cong Duy; Chung - musician Quoc Trung; Tri - director Pham Hoang Nam; Duc - Associate Professor, Doctor, Doctor Phan Toan Thang; Nhan - philanthropist Nguyen Phuong Lam; Hien - writer Nguyen Tuong Bach and Xuan - director, author Xuan Phuong.
The English-Vietnamese bilingual book depicts the journey of discovering and spreading the “inner universe” – where spiritual strength, compassion and humane thinking become the foundation for sustainable success and happiness.

At the exchange, artists Sir Niels Lan Doky, Bui Cong Duy, Quoc Trung, doctor Phan Toan Thang and director Pham Hoang Nam shared their views on their contributions and the values they aim for.
When the MC said that artists with successful careers often have stable marriages, musician Quoc Trung responded happily: "Our careers are stable but our marriages are often not very stable, like Thanh Lam and I also have changes."
The joke made divas Thanh Lam and Ha Tran sitting below giggle, and the guests in the audience also applauded.
Returning to the main topic, Quoc Trung said his generation was influenced by the "aristocratic spirit" of the West. It was a lifestyle of "gallant, romanticism, and preferring to keep one's honor rather than let it be ruined."
Musician Quoc Trung shares at the event
According to him, nowadays, patience and tranquility are no longer needed, so life is less romantic even though living conditions are better. For example, young people do not read thick books or novels, they only like to watch short clips on TikTok and read flash information.
Quoc Trung believes that "noble spirit" is very important. If spiritual values are considered the most precious thing in life and experience, people will love beauty, art, live humanely, honestly and romantically.
The artist known as "Jazz Knight" Sir Niels Lan Doky said the conversation reminded him of his childhood with his father in Hanoi .
During those years, he sat listening to his father and the people around him converse in Vietnamese for hours, even though he didn't understand anything. This made him feel comfortable and warm.
Expressing her views on life, Lan Doky promotes the spirit of "following your heart, letting life lead you to new lands and not being afraid of making mistakes".

While many artists are always afraid of making mistakes, afraid of wrong notes, he said: "A wrong note is still a note. What matters is what you play next."
After the book launch, artists and celebrities from various fields spent time visiting the art exhibition space, calligraphy and multimedia platform.
The Living Heritage exhibition – Heritage for the Future recreates the life journey, thoughts and inspiration of Vietnamese people with international influence in the fields of medicine, finance, art and culture.
The highlight of the event is the precious calligraphy of the late Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh with the two words "an tru" expressing the subtle state of tranquility of mind and spirit that the exhibition aims for.
