The exhibition "Living Heritage - Heritage for the Future" took place on the morning of November 15 in Ho Chi Minh City, gathering many famous faces of the Vietnamese music industry. Among them, the appearance of "Jazz Knight" Niels Lan Doky especially attracted attention. With Vietnamese and Danish blood, he returned to the country and met the public after 20 years away from home.
Sharing at the event, Niels Lan Doky said he felt honored and proud to be part of the project "Living Heritage - Heritage for the future". For him, this is a meaningful project, spreading positive values and reminding of the power of Vietnam's spiritual heritage in the new era.

The artist said that while sitting and listening to his Vietnamese colleagues on stage, even though he did not fully understand Vietnamese, he felt strangely moved. Those sounds reminded him of his childhood, when his family lived in Denmark but there were always Vietnamese friends visiting his father, a Hanoian .
"I often sit next to my father and listen to him talk in Vietnamese. Even though I don't understand the content, the feeling is very familiar. It's been a long time since I've experienced it. It makes me feel warm and comfortable," he shared.
Not only talking about the feeling of returning, Niels Lan Doky also brings an interesting perspective on creativity. He believes that even a wrong note is still a note, what matters is what is played next. For him, art is not only about perfection but also the ability to take risks and turn mistakes into opportunities.

Musician Quoc Trung (middle) shared many interesting things when talking about his marriage with Thanh Lam (Photo: Organizer).

He joked that artists often have stable careers but marriages are not always like that, giving examples of himself and singer Thanh Lam.
"In the past, when Thanh Lam and I broke up, many people felt sorry. But in fact, it opened up new opportunities. Thanh Lam found a happy doctor husband, and I got to know many other wonderful women," he humorously shared.
Listening to musician Quoc Trung's sharing, diva Thanh Lam sitting in the guest row burst out laughing in agreement, making the atmosphere of the exhibition more cheerful.
